If you’re vaccinated, it’s okay to gather with other vaccinated people, but it’s still not okay to believe the Spartans were super warriors, that Thermopylae was a suicide mission, or that anything about 300 is remotely historically accurate.
very poor choice of words the stories from battle of Thermopylae have lived for millennia, yet you compare it to a Hollywood movie from a few years ago? the battle was a strategic mission the outcome led to Xerxes losses if you don't believe that then you are delusional

After the greek defeat at Thermopylae, the persians sacked and burned several greek cities. The victory of the outnumbered athenians at Marathon, and later at Salamis, led to the persian withdrawal, but the defeat at Thermopylae did not.

Just Salamis (480 BC) I think. Marathon turned back the PREVIOUS invasion, ten years earlier in 490 BC. And, in the Spartans' defense, they totally did their part at Platea (479 BC) which turned back the Persians for good. But Thermopylae was just speed bump.
