I write to you with a heavy heart to share the news that one of our students, Suleman Dawood, is a passenger on board the submersible that is missing in the North Atlantic. (1)

THREAD - #COVID19 Due to the continued spread of the outbreak, we have decided that the correct course of action is to suspend all face-to-face teaching. From Monday 16 March all teaching will be delivered online and students should not attend scheduled lectures or classes.

👨🔬👩🔬 Strathclyde scientists are developing a low cost test to detect antibiotic resistance in just 45 mins instead of the current timeframe of up to 2 days! This will allow doctors to prescribe the correct antibiotic for an infection much quicker than is currently possible! 👏
