    As the COVID-19 pandemic stretches into its third year, vaccine inequity still persists on a shocking scale. More than 66 per cent of people living in high-income countries are fully vaccinated, yet only 5 per cent of people in low-income countries are fully vaccinated.

    UNICEF is outraged by the recent airstrikes on camps for internally displaced persons and refugees in Tigray, northern Ethiopia. The January 5 and 7 attacks have reportedly left scores of civilians, including children, killed and many more injured.
