Because to get even 1% of the views she's gotten someone at YouTube or the algorithm would have to blast her videos out to such a ridiculously uncharacteristic number of people. I get why people like it, the pastel colors and pretty girl, I just prefer hard work and consistency

YOUTUBE is definitely pushing her. it happens, she was chosen by youtube and/or the algorithm!! She was on my recommendations for 2 weeks until I finally succumbed and watch her. Some people win the lottery, don't be jealous or hate. won't help you at all. keep working hard!!!

So if youtube is pushing her then it would not be luck like you said. There is a difference between organic growth and inorganic. This is 100% fixed/inorganic

not really. LISTEN, I watch THOUSANDS of youtube videos. I hardly ever subscribe immediately to a channel, sometimes dont even finish vids. I subbed to this girl in 2 mins. If you read the engagement she has on her vids (which again is MASSIVE) many people did the same thing

Yes and I believe what Mark is saying is that people at YouTube realize that subscribers like you will do that. So rather than have her put in the work they basically treat her like an industry plant and shove her to everyone

Sure the mayor promoted her, but if her cookies were not good, people would not buy them??

I think, just perhaps, you undervalue work ethic and overvalue vanity. That's okay, clearly YouTube does as well

I definitely do not undervalue work. my point with the little analogy is that sometimes some people are just favored/lucky/blessed/chosen/selected/special. That's just life at times, I don't have to be naive and it doesn't have to be a huge conspiracy

I have about one more response left in me to read so you can have the last one if you want it
