    All 533,000,000 Facebook records were just leaked for free. This means that if you have a Facebook account, it is extremely likely the phone number used for the account was leaked. I have yet to see Facebook acknowledging this absolute negligence of your data.

    Several mailboxes from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs were hacked by what appears to be an idealistic hacker. Credentials and documents were dumped for free. I only skimmed through the documents because I don't speak Russian but have sent them to a security researcher.

    This all started from a Twitter account with 30 Twitter followers, was passed to a former contestant (who has since deleted their account), who wrote a Medium letter (With 28 subscribers.), and now it's turned into this.

    The FBI's child exploitation investigative unit (ECAP) requested information on this man. Using just these three images, was able to determine exactly the location and the month/year the photos of the victim and person-of-interest were taken.

    I love Troy's HaveIBeenPwned but governments having to rely on non-official 3rd party services to alert victims is worrying. The Dutch National Police has their own lookup service but it relies on people actively checking their email address, I suspect not many will.
