    For March I wanted to try and stop just leaning on rewatching the same stuff, which I do too often. So, I’m trying to watch a new (to me) movie every day. Here’s what I’ve watched the first three days: Possessor, Frank, and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.

    Incredible that when Amazon posted "if our employees really had to pee in bottles they wouldn't work for us" they meant "we know that our people have to do it all the time, but actually it's a Tier 1 infraction and therefore we'd be able to fire them."

    This law is racist & ableist voter suppression and it’ll impact disabled voters in GA with changes in absentee ballots & new ID requirements

    The Republican-controlled Georgia legislature has approved a massive overhaul of election laws that enacts new limitations on mail-in voting, expands most voters' access to in-person early voting and more.

    If this was any other country, the news would say "In the US province of Georgia, security forces arrested an opposition leader at the signing of a new anti-democracy bill into law. This law is part of a crackdown on voting, undertaken after opposition wins in recent elections."

    I’ve seen videos of people being arrested without having broken any laws, but arresting a Georgia state rep for knocking on the Governor’s door is just unfathomable. An outrageous abuse of police power.

    Awkward w/ freelancing & part-time. Lots of overlap. In the last 7 years I’ve had 5 jobs. Currently have 3 jobs. Freelancing 12+ years, then 3 years, 22 months, 4 years, and 1.5+ years

    How many jobs have you had in the last 7 years? I'm trying to see something. I'll go first, I've had 2 jobs in the last 13 years. Current one, 7 years. Previous one 5 years.

    Yes. While Jeff Bezos, who is worth $184 billion, purchased a DC mansion with 25 bathrooms for himself, I believe Amazon workers when they say that they are so afraid to take a bathroom break that they pee in a bottle. $15 is not enough. Amazon workers need a union.
