    Thank you to everyone who was able to make it out for our conversation event with creator, Mark di Suvero himself! We're absolutely ECSTATIC to celebrate "Orion" as our newest acquisition. So glad to have it back, but even better is that it's here to stay 💕

    Yesterday, Mark di Suvero’s famous sculpture “Orion” was reinstalled on campus after being removed last summer for renovations. Tonight, Di Suvero is speaking at on the importance of public art.

    when asked talk why he named it Orion, Mark di Suvero said when it was done he walked outside at night, looked up & there was Orion above it. He spoke out for peace, truth, science, democracy.
