So to be clear you think that a new order is going to be a deterrent to someone who is prepared to use a knife to kill, with no thought for the consequences?

Why don't you have a campaign to wipe out middle class cocaine use which creates crime

Shuffling deckchairs on the Titanic. The ethnic minority gang members involved will hardly be quaking in their shoes...

This is not an ethnic minority problem, it’s a working class problem!

So they can be given (initially, until challenged) a pathetic suspended sentence. When are you going to wake up, silly pieces of paper don't stop knife carriers. Long, tough prison sentences do. Get a grip of the judiciary.

a couple of issues.... 1. they get their knives online or from their mum's kitchen drawer. 2. how in anyway is it possible to *restrict* anyone's access to social media? this is the equivalent of writing a strongly worded letter...

Would it not be a good idea to employ more police officers, what we are seeing now is the result of draconian police cuts in the past. These prevention orders are just sticking plaster solutions .

Orders orders and only orders, new laws, it’s not going to tedolve the issue. If you are serious then educate the parents and take strict actions about the schools that do not control bullies and intolerance. It is related to education and training. Laws can not control ignorance
