Tell me, how many pilots have died in this deathtrap during the over 100 thousand hours it has been flying for?

It is brothers. Tbh the U.K. Would have been better off purchasing F-16s or building more Typhoons. F-35 has been riddled with problems since development began. I truly believe you're better off producing more typhoons than getting involved with the mess that is the F-35.

Agreed @UKDefJournal . His better argument may have been cats and traps with a mix of F-18 and F-35C

F-18 would have been a better option than the F-35. This jet has been a mess and it's not trustworthy.

No, you have a good point. I didnt take into consideration you were using it for carrier purposes, my bad. I hope it works out for all the money you've spent on it.I know the stealth concept is appealing butI don't think it's worth all the trouble that comes with it, regardless.

Like what? "Stealth"? What difference does it make if you're just going to use it to blow up arabs in the middle of a desert with no way to defend themselves? Oh, I forgot. The Russians are coming!

Yes after 12 years of "testing" It does surprise me that this jet doesn't have fucking tires that can work properly and creates false targets. If you're still having this many issues you just need to start over.
