    If the House of Lords refuses to reject this vicious, openly discriminatory bill then it down to all of us to make this bill unenforceable. When the law aims to persecute marginalised people, it is immoral. Immoral laws should be opposed not respected.

    Patel's Home Office say the criminalisation of trespass is "objectively justified" when even police officers say they have "enough" powers and what is needed is more sites for travellers. Their aim is not to help GRT communities but to ethnically cleanse their way of life.

    They say increasing stop and search powers is "potentially positive" because Black communities are disproportionately affected by violent crime. How does increased discrimination and harassment make anyone feel safer? Their aim is not safety but intimidation of BLM movements
