Well I absolutely hate transitioning from CS16 to CC19. I average a crash like this every 45 mins. The only silver lining is the auto backup on is better so I rarely loose work. Just a big waste of time. Anyone know what is going on "Can't Finish Previewing" #maps

It is done. I can't believe I'm really able to announce this. But my hand-drawn #map of North America is complete, more than 4 and a half years since it began. I signed it off on Thursday and have been in disbelief ever since. It's a new day my friends 
Pushing pixels to make my streams flow downhill on my next map, OHT North. Doing this 1000s of times, I encountered my first stream that jumps a watershed. Jamison Creek in Buffalo National River.
Fresh off the press, the new and improved second edition of the Ozark Highlands Trail, East map. Look for these in stores throughout the Midwest or online soon.

136 hours later, the cartouche for the (renamed) North America: Portrait of a Continent #map. The scarlet macaw at the bottom will be clutching a scroll where I'll sign off and date. Final sessions now & will sign off for good later this month. Yes, that's February 2019.

Just added some detail to the Buffalo National River on my Ozark Highlands Trail East map. Just a primer for the upcoming OHT North map which will have over 75 miles of the BNR. Can't wait, I love the Buffalo!

A timelapse from last year. It answers a few basic questions I often get asked about how I work. So the map is always upright, I stand up to draw. I work behind that magnifying lamp a lot. It allows me to transcend the limits of my eyes - and hopefully save them for the long run!
