Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if it continued in a lot of public settings for while at least, if not somewhat permanently.

i'm pretty sure i will always continue to wear a mask in public. this serves the purpose of: not getting influenza, not getting covid (i hope), and not getting told that i need to smile more.
