If there are breaking changes, why're you not following SemVer?

We've considered it, but any type checking change that catches new bugs or any fix to a bug in the type checker itself could technically be considered a breaking change. Seems semver wouldn't give a meaningful indication of how minor these changes are.

I agree with
@robertmclaws.A breaking change is when code, that used to work/build properly does not work/build anymore. Don't get me wrong.I love Typescript and admire your efforts, but everytime a new "minor" version is released I am getting sweaty hands.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better.
