My biggest complaint about TypeScript is that it promotes writing "smart" code like this. I honestly can't read or reason about this. Might as well be one of those crazy genius blackboard scribbles in blockbuster movies.pic.twitter.com/O8uWzVfFfo

That’s perfectly clear code if you wouldn’t ‘one-letter’ your variables.
The speed fix is great news! On my current project I had to revert to 3.3 since build times became incredibly slow on 3.4.
TS keep getting better
Good to see the Omit helper type is now included with TypeScript 3.5https://devblogs.microsoft.com/typescript/announcing-typescript-3-5-rc/#the-omit-helper-type …
Ahhh that’s why @code has been slow for me
this one is new.... export class c { [x: string]: string; constructor() { this["a"] = "b"; } } error TS2536: Type '"a"' cannot be used to index type 'this'.
It can’t come fast enough. Loving 3.5 so far.
This looks to be an amazing release - dotting a lot of "i"s and crossing a lot of "t"s! #thankyou
#greatwork
Looks like it nearly has a full suit of features! Just validation for old school string concatenation patterns.. Phantom types and separation of type modifier manipulation from types, would simplify things. Definitely help larger projects, now.
Oh, I thought it was slow because I was setting it up incorrectly. Thanks for the massive update!
