Is it ammonia? If the liver isn’t working properly that can happen and cause what you describe.
My dad is going through something similar but not as extreme. He suffers from hallucinations but not every single day and doesn't have the nightmares so much. He has seen people that have died but it's not scary to him. I hope you find the help you need, Tyler.
