I never understood this part where people wait in line to enter the airplane. I’m always chilling on my chair and the last one to enter

Makes it a bit hard to find a spot for your hand luggage in the overhead bins occasionally when going in last & need to inconvenience others if at a window seat when going in late but that's about it.
Yeh it was full on this plane when i entered. Gave my handbagge to a flight attendent and she took care of it
