Worth noting for future reference that with each new update to check if discord overlay is turned off or not. Heard nothing but buggy things with discord overlay

Oh similar thing happened to me but unfortunately not during game. You just have to shut down discord in task manager which you can select by right clicking the screen outside of hearthstone. By going into windowed or just by command.
