Obviously spending nine mana is more powerful than four, yes, but having four four mana plays that can force them to trade before Fungalmancer seems better than having nothing proactive until 5 mana.
Yeh i get what youre saying. Just never seemed an issue to me because your defensive plays later on are so powerful.
I feel like zoo and odd rogue can snowball against you so quickly that being slower and more powerful isn’t great
As long as you can stall into spreading Plague, the game is over. You have removal with Swipe/Spellstone, Saronites, Giggling Inventor and Wispering fills the board for trading, and if any taunts stock Scavenger pushes the game. You rarely played Teacher on 4 vs aggro anyway
