Not sure if it works, but have you tried cleaning the fans from dust, etc?
the thing is the laptop isnt even hot. I literally start it up and in one minute it shuts down. but yeh, i know nothing about laptops so opening it and cleaning the fans is the only/first thing i thought of xD

had a bit of same thing, could be the HDD problem and you would have to replace it, but this kinda last thing to do before checking other possible ways

does it just shut down without rebooting or does it reboot after shutdown? the easiest thing to solve would be heat related issues, but it sounds like there could be loose connections (cause of your travel)
