I've tried the exact same thing, back when they had the top 64 wild legend players will qualify for a big wild tournament. When I got top 50 this happened and I finished out of top 64 :)

This is common issue for me from indonesia too sometime its feel my isp block hearthstone and you can do nothing about it till it resolved itself.
