    Again, if you're thinking about running for a seat in your state legislature, please, for the love of God, do that.

    we already saw the justification after the last election. a strained reading of the constitution to suggest that state legislatures can essentially do whatever they want with presidential electors whenever they want.

    Wow. Some Texas Republicans are proposing a bill that would force voters to have to register separately for federal & state/local elections so that the GOP could enforce additional voting restrictions in state/local elections if Dems in Congress pass federal voting reforms

    As HR1/S1 moved closer to passage, this is a tactic to watch for in a number of red states. It shows how desperate Republicans are to prevent all voters from participating in elections.
