#1 and #5 are deficit-funded expansions to Harper programs. #2 and #4 are deficit-funded copies of Harper initiatives. I suppose imitation is a form of flattery! #3 is good politics but terrible policy in an era of aging populations, and will have to be undone by a future gov't.

Rolling back OAS was a dumb idea and most economists and experts advised against it. Most other industrialized countries have raised retirement age and often has support across the political spectrum.

How long does this game last? I am sure we can go all day

-
Me too - but I’m not buying your #’s. As
@reicurran astutely pointed out, u r going into debt to expand@stephenharper policies. Additionally, people/families will pay
more in inflationary Carbon TAX than they get back in puny rebate cheques. -
Sorry but Steve quoting Rachael on matters of policy is hilarious!

Tyler - a keen observer found your shill routine for the PMO on OAS changes quite disingenuous considering your column from a few years ago advocating for a move to 67. It is sad the PMO forces you to do this.http://policyoptions.irpp.org/2015/08/12/3-thoughts-on-the-ontario-retirement-pension-plan/ …

Read the report again Erin. Tyler is raising issues not advocating, and clearly states that CPP reforms could mitigate concerns. Note to Erin: CPP reforms were achieved under our govt. Why can't Tories explore ideas honestly and understand complexity?
-
Right Adam: "we need to get to a place where eligibility for retirement benefits – of all kinds – changes in line with life expectancy."
-
Hi Erin - if you’re going to read my peer reviewed research you’ll find that I’ve consistently argued against the OAS changes your govt introduced. Why? Because it was terrible policy that didn’t recognize differential life expectancy of poor v rich. Also I don’t work in PMO.
-
Please send some support along Tyler as that conflicts entirely with what you wrote. Must be hard for you to go from thoughtful IRPP pieces to tweets defending poor policy decisions.

...how's that court challenge to the NATO meeting coming...the next day passed over a month and a half ago.
-
A settlement was reached to have both Leona & Borys co-Chair in Halifax & a good settlement is always better than court Adam. Just thankful that some in the Liberal caucus recognized the poor conduct & pushed for a settlement.

National Housing Strategy, $40b over next ten yrs following additional investments of $5.7b in first 3yrs of govt.

I find it concerning that you spend your day tweeting rather than doing real work. Maybe this is why you had to lie about when the budget would be balanced and thus your every other promise that involves money. It's easy to promise benefits here and there, any fool can that.

They r in panick mode, as they should be. He and
@MPCelina have been all over Twitter today. -
He blocked me cause I pointed out that the liberal gov didn’t balance the budget and thus they can’t claim they have a climate plan bc they can’t tell us how much it cost.pic.twitter.com/wofNnQIXEb
