@tylerblack32 Any thoughts on this? Seems very inaccurate to suggest more deaths by suicide than lives saved by lockdown measures.

Even if lockdown doubled the rate of suicide (it doesn't, even severe economic depressions do not double the rate of suicide), far more lives are saved by lockdown. During the great depression, rates *spiked* to 15 per 100k per year. Look at the spikepic.twitter.com/9rMZDlqsxV

By preventing death of our loved ones and castrophic loss of life, we are protecting against the type of loss that severely worsens suicide risk. Anyone who claims suicide rates will increase due to lockdown is **not using evidence** or asking me, an expert in suicide.
