Why is @youtube recommending me videos I've already watched, videos from years ago, videos I've already said I'm not interested in and the same videos over and over? What kind of shit algorithm is that ?

Honestly, do you even have anybody working on the algorithm? For the past year, suggestions have seemed random and out-of-place. I kind of figured you switched to machine learning and that that was the reason for the mess.

You can remove recommended content by selecting "Not interested" on your home page, this will influence how YouTube suggests videos to you in the future. Here's more about managing your recommendations: https://yt.be/help/cJiM

Thanks for the tip, but if it's "influenced" suggestions, then you really have switched from a manual algorithm to machine learning.

That has to be the stupidest decision I've seen any company make. A custom algorithm, you can test, revise, and perfect. Machine learning, that's relying on simulated evolution in statistical data to determine what somebody wants to watch, and that's far less accurate.
