If I could get some retweets for the first post in this thread, it would be amazing. I’m trying to get my wife another week of life-saving meds. Thank you, Furs and others! @BenjaminDiskin @_likeshine_ @Faebelina @WindleBeth @DogpatchPress @LadyShinga @missmalindakat @GoldenDruid

What is the medicine that is shrinking her tumor and controlling her blood pressure? And, costs $700 a month? I read your paper. It appears it's marijuana Your wife has had 4 major strokes and 18 TIAs? Any other physicians want to chime in?
-
It is. Doctor prescribed medical cannabis. In over 5 years of different drug regimens, it’s the only thing that’s proven effective in controlling her BP, stopping her strokes, and keeping her emotions stable post the brain damage. :)
-
She's on no anti-platelet after averaging a stroke or TIA every 2 months? I believe in legalization, i believe that there are medical uses. And, I have sympathy, but I'm also suspicous when you are posting in a room of extrememely young adults and push questions to your post
-
She didn’t have them every two months. Two strokes & 6 TIAs happened in her first hospital stay, in 2013. The other two occurred later - one when she was on AMA drugs that weren’t working & another when she was first on cannabis and we couldn’t afford it. Same with the other TIAs.
-
She is now up to 18 TIAs and four full strokes in the last three years.-Pulled off of your blog. that's 22 in 36 months. it's more than averaging one every 2 months. and if she had serial strokes and tias in a very short period she'd die or be severely brain damaged
-
She is severely brain damaged. Her last MRI showed 12 “dark spots” in her brain. We don’t know which is from what. In addition she’s also dealing with bipolar (which the brain damage has made worse), and other issues the character limit makes it hard to go into.
-
Obviously I could be wrong and I live in the land of fraud, so I'm overly suspicious. Just look at how the story presents with a little pushing. So, if it's true clean it up. And, also if not, then hit an older wealthier base. Go to people building out in newly legal states
-
Its very true. And thank you. I’ll make the diary clearer.

how are you guys doing so far? i can’t donate currently but i will when possible
-
We’ve got enough for a full week, plus the emergency podiatrist appointment my wife has this Thursday (out of our insurance network because there isn’t one that’s in it nearby), so that’s amazing!
-
i hope someday you guys get out of all this.
-
Same here, my friend.

I do. Her aunt is a naturopathic doctor and is who’s overseeing her treatment. The tumor is slowly being shrunk, but the 12 spots of brain damage she has from the previous strokes and TIAs are the source of the problem at this point. Thank you for the link!
-
Make sure to inquire about Qi Gong, it is most likely more effective than the herbs. May i ask if the naturopath prescribes the meds ?
-
She and my wife’s AMA doctor have prescribed them. It depends on which visit we can afford when we need renewals as to where we go. And we’ll definitely look into it.

Also. Start by doing graphical design for friends, neighbours, family, local business. Call them, mail them, tell them you work remote etc. Put a small yet convincing portfolio online.
-
I’ve been doing that for years. Just never quite make enough. Thank you for the help, though!
-
No problem. Does that not mean you are working on the too cheap end or do you have problems with landing more work ? If the latter. Promote yourself, ask to RT for extra work ?
-
My portfolio is http://TygerwolfeDesigns.com/ I have a lot of trouble finding regular work and I have to spend a lot of time taking care of my wife as well, which means I don’t often have time to work & projects can take months to complete. For our whole story: http://tygerwolfe.com/our-situation/

Your style is interesting but seems somewhat limited in scope. This makes choosing you as an artist a yes-no decision.
-
I’m only limited by what people have commissioned, unfortunately. I don’t have time to do many personal pieces for stylistic scope, so everything that’s there is what I’ve been paid to do. Thank you, though.

Making time is an artform in itself.
