@twostraws Array doesn’t have to be homogeneous?
"public func arrayByShufflingObjectsInArray(array: [AnyObject]) -> [AnyObject]" Is there a technical reason that doesn't use generics?

I mean, if I pass in an array of strings, I don't expect to get back an array of elephants … or *do* I? No. No, I don't.

@twostraws if we're talking Swiftness this should be called shuffled, too. But you're right. AnyObject is odd. -

@twostraws generics would mean it would be a homogeneous array. AnyObject allows heterogeneous array. But odd though. I can’t see a reason. - Show more
