I'm really blown away by the selfishness of some suburbanites. It's one (bad) thing to prohibit inexpensive housing choices in your own community, but it's a whole other level to oppose it in cities 10 or 20 miles away because it'd make parking there more difficult for you.

Half my kid’s classes were cancelled today because someone drove their car into a power pole and knocked out the electricity. Speed limit scooters am I right?

I've never been to Los Vegas, but the people who go, actually go for the indoor experience, and thousands of them drive, so I bet they like a lot of parking. The town is a product of the automobile age, and won't even exist without cars. twitter.com/FuckCarsReddit…

Just throwing this out there but how much demand for cars is generated by wrecks that total newer cars whose owners get paid out to buy another newer car?

🎉🎉 Richmond City Council has unanimously repealed parking minimums! 🥳🥳 A huge thank you to our dedicated advocates and partner organizations who made this possible. This marks the beginning of our journey towards abundant and affordable housing for everyone in RVA!

We need a Flying Pigeon for American e-bikes. Massive public initiative to make a standard and well built e-bike for public bike share and consumers alike.

Rides increased 65% in 2022. ~342k rides in 2021. ~223k additional rides in 2022 ~202k presumably “free” rides from BIKETOWN for all. ~21k max paid ride growth. Increasing bikes by 33% is gonna help but not much and likely very little new user revenue.

No shade on Aaron here at all but the fact that blue check twitter was basically a blue check bubble is something that was super annoying as a normie. Verification was a bad proxy for quality.

Welp, my notifications are impossible to sift through now, which is going to make interacting with folks much more difficult.
