This year #CHI2023 will also combine a number of amazing summer schools co-located just the week after the main conference. They are organized by top research groups in the geographic area of Germany/Denmark etc. They are FREE.

Just heard from that is shutting down at the end of this year
They helped us run one of the most exciting (and successful) virtual event for 2021 while we were GCs.

Although my headrest got the job done I was never really happy. Especially since it causes the HMD to move a bit when you lean against it. So, now I'm using a neckrest, which avoids the problem. Here with trying it out. twitter.com/VR_Neuroscienc

Maybe now more than ever reputation of the authors will be critical. Institutional reputation. As well as working demonstrations and prototypes. At least until video fakes are also as good. Of course none of this makes sense for theories. Only for practical work.

If we are going to have fake scientific papers, we might has well have fake reviews of fake papers. And then we can also have fake letters of reference for fake academics who get promoted to tenure at fake universities. I can then retire as there is nothing left for me to do.
