LVCC loop is a people mover system. It works as designed requested by the LVCVA. It cost $160 million less than the next closest bid for a people mover rail actually. Saved the city tons of money.

“Works as designed”. Why would you want to add more costs to do more than what it is designed for? That’s how you get billion dollar project costs 🤮

The funny thing though is the extreme cost of this "System" also, the fact that they have to pay drivers, it isn't automated, and the tunnels do not have any ventilation or safety features so if there's a fire people will literally suffocate.

It’s $160 million cheaper than the next cheapest proposal which was $215 million for a rail system. Automated was never promised in the contracts. Tunnels do have ventilation and safety features. You’re just flat out wrong here.

Your article predated the capacity testing which they were successful in breaking 4,400/hr. So no, it’s actually working fine. Can’t wait for you to link me to the new article which I have many things to say about that.

Congratulations @boringcompany - @LVCVA Loop capacity testing exceeded 4400 passengers per hour on Tuesday, confirmed today after reviewing results. #OnlyVegas

Even if that is true (which you have not demonstrated), just because it is within Las Vegas spec doesn't mean it is in reasonable or sane spec. The fact that they are pushing that many people through tunnels without sprinklers or emergency exits is pretty insane by any standard.
