I like to think of it like this: you're at a party. The bass is bumping. You decide to leave. As you walk away, eventually there's a point where you can't hear the bass (or feel the solar winds). You're still in the neighborhood though.

Also can we appreciate two spacecraft operating for 40 years? Real #goals & a testament to the folks that built and operate it, and the incredible work of the Deep Space Network to communicate with them over these distances.
