Does it close the loophole that is allowing live broadcast recordings from the 60s 70s and 80s to be openly sold by companies who do not have any rights in them ?

It is a big fat NO. all they care for is to put edgy young Youtubers out of business so people watch boring ass TV where a movie is interrupted with 30 minutes of commercials

Why would this put young youtubers out of business?

I suggest you read the
@TeamYouTube page and see all the cases when even Creative Commons stuff got striked or people OWNED the license and still got a strike false claims are NOT illegal by the law, nor if someone takes someone elses work and sends it to the filter as own2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

I am personally not a fan of YouTube. I found the platform very unregulated and quite dangerous with a lot of false propaganda. I recently removed it from all my children until I can fully explain consequences of videos to them. The rest Twitter and Facebook are not as broad.

And it is irrelevant what you say about your kids...we spoke about copyright and excemptions being blocked.

Okay. You are a charming person you are. Lol In that instance, I was diverging and talking about my feeling and experience of you tube in general. But I also said I have read on Twitter both side some artist who welcome the change and some than dont. I am not going to repeat it.

Well your opinion is one thing...An article that puts small websites also on the line is another. Personally i would always explain to my kids what they see and that is NOT the fault of youtube. Youtube is not a kiddy tv channel so maybe do not let them on it?
