Somebody in Bolsover said they voted Conserative because Dennis Skinner hadn't stopped austerity. A woman in Rotherham said she voted Tory because she was sick of austerity A woman phoned LBC said she voted Johnson because Labour were going to get rid of her foodbank. I see

Several of the people who've accused me of being an 'antisemite' a 'Jew-hater' or a 'self-hating Jew' have been asked by me whether they think using such terms about me might have legal implications. Several of the tweets making those claims about me have since been deleted.

Thanks to for securing last night's debate on the tax affairs of global digital companies like Netflix - they didn't pay any tax on UK profits last year! When austerity has taken over £300 million from Newcastle, multinationals must make their fair contribution

Chloe Smith - This government is committed to being open in its dealings with the Press... & the events of yesterday were a very good example of this. This is rightly met with howls of laughter. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

More & more people are in a working household yet living in poverty. The number has risen over the last 10 years. Work does not guarantee a route of of poverty - how can that possibly be right? The system is clearly broken & needs to change.

My grandmother, who was sent to Siberia for 10 yrs, said that in February, birds wld freeze to the ground. So, prisoners, who were sent to work, wld grab small birds, put them under their armpits. By the time prisoners got back to barracks, the birds would thaw out & fly away.

A few years back I read a review of Sad Book. I saved the cutting for ‘that’ day. I lost my dad a year ago. Both my mum and I have struggled. I then remembered this book. I went and bought it. It’s beautiful. Thank you 🙏 😊

If this view is shared by the rest of the EU, then expect a big constitutional showdown between the Scottish and UK governments later this year 👉 Tusk: EU would be enthusiastic if Scotland applied to rejoin

Well Johnson has to find the £100billion plus for HS2 somewhere and it will be such a huge help to all those on poverty pay, zero hrs contracts, UC or foodbanks or sleeping on the streets when it is finally built.

Meanwhile, this Government is committing £100 billion to a high speed trainline that relatively few are convinced we actually need...

The link Paul supplied took me to an article that seemed to say hydrogen would be used in buses and other large vehicles!
