Have to agree with other users here, I think defaulting everyone by the end of the year is too early, unless the eng teams are working overtime or the features are almost ready. :(

YouTube Studio will be the default so you can get used to the new design, navigation, tools, and metrics. But you'll still be able to tap the “Creator Studio Classic” button in the bottom left and switch back. We are working hard to move over all of your fav classic features!

I'm already using it almost daily as an addition and looking for new features, and I do like it. But there are core features missing and I'm afraid that dev will come to an halt similar to the current Polymer design, that after 1.5 years is still missing features.

Fair enough, what are the features you'd most like to see?

Just a few that I can think of right now: Ad settings for videos, the live stream dashboard, cards, blurring, comparison of metrics, videos and groups in analytics, the drill down of metrics (eg. Traffic sources > Suggested video > List of videos)

But I also appreciate the quite open development process of the YouTube Studio by involving creators early on through their feedback, and also taking feedback here. :)

This is great. Blurring and Cards are definitely on the way, we'll pass along the rest of these requests to the product team (believe most of these things are being worked on, but we'll share out more updates as we get them) :)

Looking forward to it. :) Oh, and if you find the time, maybe share a sneak peak with top contributors (or now Google Product Experts), either in hangouts or on a summit. I think you could also get good feedback from that.
