Same for me, in attaining all three of my degrees in the UK. I only had colleagues at the PhD and postdoc levels who were more diverse.
On my year abroad in Denmark, I had one Singaporean professor (teaching an awesome class, the Anthropology of Southeast Asian Food). Hm. - Show replies

One WoC prof in my undergrad. Zero in my MSc. One in my PhD.

Over 23 years of schooling (primary, secondary, undergraduate, and graduate), the only time I've been taught by a woman of colour was in Grade 11 French. This is why now when WoC talk to me, I shut my mouth and listen. Gotta make up for lost time.

Absolutely none. I've had a couple WoC PhD students who served as TAs in undergrad. But zero WoC professors.

This makes me wonder where are all these WoC grad students go (the answer to which we probably know...sadly). It makes me also think that I may have been one of the few WoC teachers to my students when I was a TA....

One in grad school, one in undergrad. Multiple courses/independent studies with each, but still had most of my courses with white men. Most of my courses have been great, but I've felt that absence, for sure.
