What if I were Romeo in black jeans? What if I was Heathcliff, it's no myth? Maybe she's just looking for A clone of Glenn Danzig?

Massachusetts state troopers are some of the worst and most corrupt around, so the odds are that the organization just got a lot better.

Today's the launch of Blizzard/Activision's kickstarter to raise money to fight their harassment lawsuits and do some union busting. Your $40 backer reward is a buggy remake of a 20-year-old game.

I missed the news about the Booker shortlist last week, but I'm so happy that Patricia Lockwood's "No One is Talking About This" made the cut -- it's so, so good.

Shockingly, not one of the pieces I've posted to FB about the WSJ investigation or other recent stories has gotten any engagement, almost as if they're blocking it.

Unsubbed from a Politico newsletter over this (publishing OTR stuff is bullshit, and the Yom Kippur stuff on top of it is pretty awful) and gave the reason in the "why u leave" field, then saw that I'd have to unsub from each one (no bulk option), so just marked the rest as spam.

Everyone's snarking at the sheer gall he's got, but as always, the hypocrisy and mustache-twirling is the point of the GOP (which, yes, includes Thomas); this is their shtick, and they don't feel shame.

Just unsubscribed from . I don't mind shows offering bonuses for paid subscribers (it's a good thing), but they did a straight bait and switch, promising something at the beginning and then saying it's subscriber-only at the very end, showing disdain for listeners
