Well, the article says she was ready to take the position. She had already told me people that she accepted the offer. Then they took it away. Without reason. We need a public explanation.

Here’s my theory: they offered McGee the position of ED and she accepted it. But then the executive recruiter did more digging and (UNJUSTIFIABLY) linked her to social justice/judicial activism activity from 2011. Then they (unjustifiably) rescinded the offer.pic.twitter.com/kbpY6cDQSt

Actually earlier than 2011. They probably linked her to a RUMOR dating back to when Schwarzenegger was governor.
Seems like they were scared McGee would use her position for activism? So silly. @StateBarCA do better! We see what your priorities are.
