Most of the complicated code comes from `haskell-ide-engine`, where they had already solved the difficult problem of turning GHC output into completions. OSS power!

Can you explain me what gchide is? I'm currently using Haskell IDE with VSCode. How is it different than that? Does it use Haskell IDE internally?

It's another take on implementing a Language Server (the protocol VSCode uses, among other editors) for Haskell.
