It's almost like there is an algorithm that determines, based on the other videos your fans watch and their comments; that there may be something problematic for them. I think it's unlikely that YouTube is run by anything other than unabashed capitalists.

No, that's not my logic, it's the logic of the algorithm. Just as Pandora will suggest songs based on other songs you listen to, YouTube will decide what might be a problem for there advertisers based on other stuff that's a problem for their advertisers.
