probably forgot to setup a cron with the renew flag on it, easy to do if it's your first time, as it wasn't explicitly clear in the instructions until very recently.

certbot standard HTTP-01 challenge was failing on one of my machines (unless I stopped nginx and tried standalone mode). I had to switch to DNS-01 challenge and it works perfectly since. The point is, not everyone are patient enough. Many would prefer traditional EV certificates.
