find this as baffling as learning people didn't play 'tag' or whatever where they grew up. surely kids outside of the south wales area also hit upon the idea. each car manufacturer had different types of hub cap screw, so you could trade them on the playground. was class tbh

it's a good point, but i can only assume it's because you couldn't bring the whole hubcap into school in your pocket without it being immediately confiscated, and the screws had a black market kinda value on the playground
