- if we broadly agree the manifesto is worth fighting for, what do we need to do to convince people of it? - what is the best way for the membership to spend the next few years, so that we can buttress the (presently deflated) enthusiasm and organise beyond the ballot box?

a bit surprised about the number of people saying drop the commitments for 'free stuff'. it's fair cop to say that people didn't believe in the possibility of it being delivered, but unless you think eg broadband for all is actually a bad policy, the task should be convincing

also think we should reject this ayn randian survival-of-the-fittesr formation of public services as 'free stuff' or 'handouts' or whatever. (eg call it 'broadband for all') if we believe people are entitled to living comfortable and secure lives, the task is countering

the narratives which convince people otherwise, that they don't deserve basic amenities and utilities unless they can afford them. or else, what are we even for? a slightly less privatised nhs?

other one that keeps coming up is PR - agree electoral reform is necessary, but do people really think that's a vote winner? aren't the people in favour of it already labour/LD/green supporters? also if we are going for electoral reform, is that really the best option?

the manifesto is great but I think too many things were announced throughout the six weeks. Something revolutionary like broadband got lost later on in campaigning, likewise 2b trees. Tories bored ppl to death with one message - not saying that's the way, but it worked.
-
what do you think their message will be after brexit is 'done'
