I’m curious how my network ranks. Other #UniFi users, what does the speed test in the mobile app give you for results? Let’s share!

Using the unifi app I only get 37.8/60.2Mbps on my Nexus 5x. Using speedtest . net (over the internet, crossing a country border twice) on the same device I get 612/517Mbps.. Hmmm. Anyway, Unifi AC HD access point. 5x is a 2x2 AC wave 2 device.

Is it possible your first measurement is MBps and the second is Mbps?

It does say Mbps, and kellabyte got ~560Mbps with it. So no, something else must be going on. Probably just some bad interaction somewhere, everything else tests fine.

I’m using the iOS app. Maybe it’s a
#UniFi android app issue?1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

Ah, yes, that could be. I will blame the app or app + phone combo for now, and not my excessively complicated network

Note: I do think it is the app/platform or app/phone combo beeing weird. iperf to laptop checks out.
