    Woah! This is huge - one of the founding members (AIUI) of the CA "Security" Council has left. It sounds like recognizes that CAs collaborating to censor (in the name of "phishing") is not a good look. Big props for stepping up!

    These HTTPS debates get to the point where my patience eventually runs out from explaining all the good reasons the web as a whole is driving towards encryption and I simply boil it down to this: it’s happening whether you like it or not, get on board or get left behind!

    It seems Dave responded but kind of missed the point of my article really. The whole focus is on Google again despite countless other organisations around the world pushing HTTPS. Even Firefox and Safari will have 'Not Secure' in the address bar soon, which is apparently slander!
