People who say, "I don't want to focus on soft skills"

How do you go about improving these skills for yourself?
Step 0, maybe: trusting that you can learn from anyone Can learn from people with less experience, who are younger, from different fields, from different companies. Can learn from people you don't like! Every time I meet a new person, I'm wondering what I can learn from them.

When I'm interacting with people, I'm on the lookout for ways I can improve communication, or make better decisions etc... By seeing how they do it. If you don't have the mindset that you can learn from anyone, lots of opportunities for improvement will pass you by.

No one person has all skills mastered. But if you can learn a little from many people, you'll be levelling yourself up all round.
