That article is basically about the demand curve being a weird shape; Tinder is only a small and incidental part. The point is people have preferences for income vs leisure (among other things) which are distinct from government goals, so meddling is..unwanted and ineffective.

It's no great secret that for dating sites and apps, the male-female ratio is like 10:1. And as it currently stands, I remain unconvinced about Tinder.

This is not the point. Woman on every dating app will go for only the top 20% . Even if they're a solid 2. They will only respond to 8s and above.

Very accurate. Best thing for a high value man is to never use a dating app. 4 and 6's are holding out for the top men. It's a literal cesspool of attention for 95% of women.
