So sad to learn of the passing of Todd Nance. I met Todd backstage at the Georgia Theater in Athens 1990, our first southern Phish show. He was kind and welcoming, a powerhouse drummer and a truly nice guy. My heart goes out to Todd’s Family today. Photo via WSP

A little over a month ago, I went to the ER with severe abdominal pain that I thought was appendicitis. It turned out to be a large tumor that was blocking my colon. While the emergency surgery was successful (and I’m about 90% recovered from that), the tumor was malignant.
Starting tonight in Pittsburgh, Jon Fishman will join the Trey Anastasio Band for their remaining fall dates ending this Sunday at Radio City Music Hall. We wish both Russ Lawton and Jennifer Hartswick a fast recovery. Thank you for your continued support.
