    This past weekend, I re-read “No Good Men Among the Living: America, the Taliban, and the War through Afghan Eyes” by for the 2nd time. What an amazing and insightful book. Here is one of the most eye-opening things I learned from it: 🧵

    📢 We've published an RFP for an agency to help us redesign the U.S. Press Freedom Tracker. The Tracker was founded in 2017 by a coalition of press freedom organizations to serve as a database of aggressions against journalists and news organizations in the United States.

    We are requesting proposals from design firms for a redesign of the site, to make it easier to explore the data about press freedom in the U.S. and to improve the reading experience:

    This is so sad to hear. Such a kind and good hearted person.

    The news of Sherwin Siy's sudden passing today is incredibly sad. A powerhouse of an intellect, a good person, and someone whose contribution to the public interest Internet is going to be sorely missed. I am a lawyer today because of how much my friend's legal mind inspired me.
