Not to mention that the tweet in question was actually an attempt to cheer up a jewish co-worker after antisemitic trolls attacked them. But hey, alternative facts and all that jazz. The people who want to believe that Carlos is a bad person already ate it up.

So again, it's okay because he has a Jewish friend, and because he said it to someone not nice it's ok? Got it

That is not even remotely what I said. Someone else called his colleague a "jew face" and so he said "I like your jew face" to cheer them up. He said it TO HIS friend after a person WHO WASN'T MENTIONED insulted them

Still used a slur to someone. If a black man called me the n word, can I say it back to cheer up my black friend? Someone I seriously doubt it

This is the stupidest arguement ever. Like there is a definite difference between making a joke “with” a friend, and making a joke “at” the expense of another person. Your mental gymnastics are clumsy. Stop trying to score points, this isn’t a moderated debate. Don’t be a dick.

Reappropriating a slur, is not the same as hurling one.
