    Effective today, DC's minimum wage goes up 75¢ to $13.25. After bumps of 75¢ in 2019 and $1 in 2020, it will reach $15 on July 1, 2020. Similarly, the tipped minimum wage increases today from $3.33 to $3.89. It tops out at $5 in 2020 (current law), or $15 in 2026 (Initiative 77).
