That late night existential-mechanical dread of a cyborg, raging against the machine.

Wow . This quote from your book describes me pretty clearly. I'll be pondering it for a while.

I'm right between Amazombies and Crane Forest. I work at Amazon and I can see five cranes from the balcony of my apartment. So, yeah, it's accurate.

I know I'm not the only one that's had a hard weekend. Thanks to all of the kind folks who listened to me. Challenges are here to help us grow. I now know I can make hard decisions, even if I don't want to believe I have to. I'm numb. But haven't given up on the future.

It's one of those days. I'm jealous of my friends that have methods to escape the world that aren't verboten in their own beliefs. I could use that today. Instead, I must just sit with it.

I need to figure out a good toolset to use for data analysis of things I pull in from various sources like logs and metrics systems. Perhaps Jupyter?

I did not know how much I needed Najwa's words, until I needed them.

But, luckily, in this silly game, it only takes one.

I've long said that I wasn't designed for online dating. In a game optimized for trivial statistics and demographics, a man with my characteristics and life experiences is bound to lose. This succinctly shows the ridiculousness.

Doctor Who (2005-) Phineas and Ferb Girl Meets World (closely followed by The Simpsons, merely because it's not as easy to re-watch the whole thing as those others)

I want to break down the toxic conceptions of masculinity we hold in society and our church. I am glad my ward is open to hear these things.

I and other members shared our own experiences with depression. There was so much more I wanted to say. I want to destigmatize it. I want people to know they can get help. I want people to know they can help others.

In church today I was able to teach about depression and mental health, using Elder Holland's talk, "Like a Broken Vessel". A member of our quorum is a psychologist and was able to share a clinical perspective.

This is awesome. A man that grew up in Alabama, going to the black churches there, is singing a gospel song in sacrament meeting. I love that my ward welcomes these expressions of the Spirit that are not necessarily of our tradition.
